Manchester Yarn Collective

On behalf of all the Manchester Yarn Collective I would like to thank everyone who came along and made the day such a great success. Special thanks go to the staff and artists of the Manchester Craft and Design Centre for their patience and hospitality. Without these wonderful people, none of this would have been possible.

Workshops ran all day on subjects including spinning, broomstick crochet and making christmas decorations, and to end the day Katy of Killer Pilates ran a fantastic half-hour session of pilates for crafters. In the middle of the day we had a speed knitting competition, which was won by Polly who managed over 120 stitches in 3 minutes.

We also had piles of yarn and accessories on sale from Skeins, Six Swans, Krafty Koala Hooked on Ewe, LaalBear, Wildfire Fibres and Green Eyed Monsters.
