GEM yarn is created using a range of beautiful base yarns, fibres and dyes. Being an obsessive knitter and spinner myself, I love spending time with yarn and I always aim to produce something which is both enjoyable to work with and ends up as a beautiful finished object.

Ignite your creative flame. Yarns inspired by the world around me, including nature, fashion and other random things. I trained as an architect, and am passionate about colour and texture. Luckily, I get to transpose this to yarn :)
Projects on the horizon
The Manchester Yarn Collective is currently planning a yarn fete (with stalls, workshops and socialising) in Manchester city centre in October, in aid of St. Ann's Hospice. We are also hoping to run a yarn club, starting in December. Watch this space for more details!
